The Dandy Town Hornets were crowned the Premier Division Champions following their 3 – 0 win over the Devonshire Colts at the BAA Field.
With the win the Dandy Town Hornets have opened up a four-point lead at the top of the table, with coach Aaron Denkins happy that they wrapped the league title up before he departed with the Women’s National Team that departs in the morning heading to the Dominican Republic for the CONCACAF Women’s Qualifier.
The Dandy Town Hornets took the lead in the 13th minute when Enrique Swan found the back of the net, Tomiko Goater doubled the lead in the 44th minute as they took that 2 – 0 lead to the break.
Cecoy Robinson would make it 3 – 0 in the 50th minute as the Dandy Town Hornets will only have to wait until next Saturday to be presented the trophy.
With the defeat, the Devonshire Colts remain in 8th place on goal difference over X-Road’s who face Robin Hood tomorrow night.
