David Bascome’s Baltimore Blast traveled to Adirondack Bank Center to take on Utica City FC for the second time this season.
In the first match the Blast defeated Utica 7 – 3, this time around the Blast defeated Utica 8 – 4.
The Blast jumped out to a 2 – 0 First Period lead with goals from Juan Pereira, Pereira would convert a penalty early in the Second Period to extend the Baltimore Blast lead to 3 – 0 and complete his hat-trick. Utica would then score three unanswered goals in the Period to level the game at 3 – 3 at the half.
Both teams would score once in the Third Period with Isiah Dorsey scoring for the Blast.
In the Fourth Period, the Baltimore Blast scored four times and shut out the home team, the Baltimore Blast got strikes from Jereme Raley, Jonatas Melo, Josh Hughes, and Pereira who scored his fourth of the game.
