A goal by Zeiko Lewis has been nominated for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week, and fans can cast their vote online for the Bermudian footballer.
The USL website said, “The action across the USL Championship in the past week produced another wide array of standout finishes, including long-range strikes and late game-winners as the regular season reached one-third complete. Now you get to decide which one will get the honor of being the Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week, presented by Select.
As far as Lewis’ goal, the USL website said, “The Bermuda international kick-started the Battery’s rally to victory with a beautiful piece of control near the top of the penalty area and a side-winder finish that picked out the bottom-left corner of the net.”
