The Bermuda Football Association affiliates have requested another Special Congress Meeting to be held on Monday to have another discussion about the 2020/2021 Football Season.
You would recall that during the Special Congress Meeting, held last Monday, March 15th, the Competitions, Youth, and Women’s Committee outlined the blueprint on the resumption of football. After receiving a motion from the floor of the Congress, the decision to end the 2020/21 football season was passed by a vote of 11-10 with one abstention.
Another vote to void the 2020/21 season was passed, however, any completed competitions will stand.
However, both Premier David Burt and the Minister of Sports Dr. Ernest Peets have expressed their desire for the clubs to reconsider their decision.
