Djair Parfit-Williams and his Fylkir teammates edged Vestmannaeyjar in their Iceland League Cup - Round 1 match.
Fylkir would hold a comfortable 3-0 lead after 48 minutes, but in the end, they would allow two late goals.
Nikulas Val Gunnarsson gave Fylkir the lead in the 12th minute, Torfi Gunnarsson would double the Fylkir lead with a strike in the 42nd minute.
In the 48th minute Fylkir would go ahead 3 – 0 when Arnor Borg Gudjohnsen scored, but in the 75th minute Vestmannaeyjar would get on the board with a strike from Thorvardarson Vidir, and then in the 4th minute of stoppage time Vestmannaeyjar would strike again when Omarsson Breki found the back of the net, but they ran out of time looking for the equalizer.
