KANE CRICHLOW

Scott McTominay's fourth-minute header was enough to give Manchester United an unconvincing victory in their FA Cup third-round tie against Kane Crichlow’s Watford.

Crichlow was an unused substitute.

Wearing the captain's armband for the first time in a much-changed side from Wednesday's Carabao Cup semi-final defeat by Manchester City, McTominay found the net after rising to meet Alex Telles' corner.

KOLE HALL

Kole Hall has moved to AFC Telford on a month's loan from the Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit – who this week discovered their season was postponed until March 6th due to the pandemic.

The 22-year-old arrived with a reputation of being a powerful front-runner, who has impressed since joining former Buck Lee Fowler's Radcliffe in the summer. He has scored four goals in seven outings this season.

Hall would start, but he could not prevent AFC Telford United from going five National League North games without a victory as Dom McHale’s second-half penalty miss proved costly in a 2-0 home defeat to AFC Fylde.

AFC Telford coach Gavin Cowan handed an immediate start to loan striker Hall, whose switch from step three outfit Radcliffe was announced just three hours before kick-off. Hall impressed in his forward role, at times isolated, but put in an energetic and willing shift.

DALE EVE

Dale Eve and his Spennymoor Town teammate's National League North clash with Leamington was postponed following the freezing conditions in the area.

Following a pitch inspection, The Brewery Field surface was deemed unplayable following a heavy downpour of snow overnight.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD

Milan Butterfield and his Guiseley teammate's trip to Farsley Celtic’s The Citadel ground was called off.

Heavy snowfall yesterday and a frozen pitch means the Vanarama National League North fixture has been called off.

It is is the second time the game has been postponed after it was also called off on New Year’s Day due to a frozen pitch.

KEZIAH MARTIN

Keziah Martin was an unused substitute as Kidderminster Harriers traveled to take on Gloucester City AFC and went down 3 - 2.

Ethan Freemantle gave Kidderminster the lead in the 5th minute, a cross lofted in from the left found Freemtantle who threw himself at it to meet it with his head, glancing in beautifully. It was 2 – 0 in the 17th minute when Sam Austin scored. A swift, incisive move saw Austin played in on the edge of the area - he drilled a low shot into the bottom corner.

It was 2 – 1 in the 29th minute when Matt McClure broke along the bi-line and squared the ball back for Keanu Marsh-Brown who fired in from 10 yards, the home side was level in the 62nd minute, as Jack Burroughs ran away on the left and delivered with a quality cross for McClure to slide home.

The home side went in front in the 75th minute, through an emphatic free-kick by Jordan Young. Young struck his shot from 25 yards that went in off the underside of the bar.
