Bermuda's English Footballers Round-Up

IslandStats.com
Several Bermuda footballers’ English teams were in action on this Boxing Day, with www.islandstats.com, as usual, covering each and every one of them.

We continue to bring you the reports of ALL our footballers, and today is no different.

NAHKI WELLS

Nahki Wells started for Bristol City against Wycombe Wanderers in their Championship battle.

Famara Diédhiou returned from suspension to strike a Boxing Day beauty in the 87th minute which proved to be the winner.

Chris Martin had nodded City into a deserved half-time lead with his third goal of the season in all competitions, in the 23rd minute, before Wycombe fought back through a deflected shot from Garath McCleary in the 68th minute.

KANE CRICHLOW

Kane Crichlow began this Championship match on the bench for Watford as his teammates took on Norwich City on the road.

Crichlow remained an unused substitute as Xisco Munoz's tenure as Watford boss started in perfect fashion as the Hornets beat Sky Bet Championship leaders Norwich 1-0 at Vicarage Road on Boxing Day.

The Spaniard had only been in the job for six days, following Vladimir Ivic's dismissal a week earlier, but guided his side to a first win in three games courtesy of Ismaila Sarr's fourth goal of the season in the 39th minute.

DALE EVE

Dale Eve started for Spennymoor Town as they took on Darlington in their Vanarama National League North Division match.

Eve and his teammates would come away with a point in a 0 – 0 draw away from home.

JUSTIN DONAWA

Justin Donawa and his Solihull teammates Vanarama National League Boxing Day clash with Chesterfield at the SportNation.bet Stadium was postponed...

Chesterfield’s next three fixtures have been postponed after the club was placed in full isolation with immediate effect following the news that positive Covid tests have been returned.

This means that Chesterfield cannot train, play fixtures or associate with anyone else, until the club emerges from isolation on Wednesday 30th December.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD

Milan Butterfield was not in the Guiseley team that took to the field for their Vanarama National League North Division match against Farsley Celtic.

Guiseley and Farsley Celtic shared the points in the West Yorkshire derby in a 2 – 2 draw.

Guiseley got goals from Kaine Felix and Nathan Newall, while Farsley Celtic got two goals from Will Hayhurst.

J’NAI BUTTERFIELD-STEEDE

J’Nai Butterfield-Steede was not in the Kendal Town team that went to battle against Colne FC in their Northern Premier League match on the road.
Kendal Town got goals from Danny Kennan and Chris Humphrey, while the home team got 2 goals from Reece Webb-Foster and the winner from Tom Dean.

KEZAIH MARTIN

Kezaih Martin came off the bench as Kidderminster was defeat by Hereford 3 – 1 on the road.

Kidderminster took the lead in the 7th minute with a goal from Luke Maxwell, but ten minutes later Hereford was level with a goal from James McQuilkin.

Hereford took the lead in the 48th minute with a goal from Chris Camwell before Lennell John-Lewis settled the match in the 81st minute for Hereford.

AYLEAL DILL
