Bermuda's European Footballers Round-Up

Kole Hall scored twice for Radcliffe

Six Bermuda Footballers teams took to the field for action, while another Bermuda player’s team was drawn in the Emirates FA Cup.

KOLE HALL

Kole Hall came off the bench to score two goals as Radcliffe Football Club drew 3 – 3 with Whitby Town.

Radcliffe took the lead in the 5th minute when a headed ball across the box was met by Neil Danns for his first goal for the club, Whitby Town were level two minutes later through a Liam Cooke low drive that found the back of the net.

Marcus Giles fired home at the near post to give Whitby Town the lead in the 29th minute, but in the 50th minute Larnell Cole found Hall at the front post and he bundled the ball home.

In the 55th minute Marcus Giles slot the ball into the back of the net to give Whitby Town the lead yet again, but Hall headed home just out of the reach of Shane Bland in the 87th minute to earn the point.

KNORY SCOTT

Knory Scott was an unused substitute as his Hastings United teammates defeated Whitehawk Football Club 2 – 1.

After a scoreless first half, Hastings took the lead in the 51st minute, relentless pleasure from Kenny Pogue meant he won the ball from a defender just outside the box, before beautifully lifting over the 'keeper and in.

The lead was doubled in the 78th minute, a fantastic through ball came to Ben Pope, saw him drive through before lifting over the keeper and into the far corner.

In the 84th minute the Whitehawks pulled a goal back, a corner was headed in by Lloyd Cotton at the near post.

J’NAI BUTTERFIELD STEEDE

J'Nai Butterfield-Steede and his Kendal Town Football Club teammates fought back from 2 – 0 down at the half to draw 2 – 2 with Mossley.

Anthony Brown gave Mossley the lead in the 15th minute, Dylan Fitzgerald then doubled the lead in the 35th minute.

Hugo Rodriguez pulled a goal back for Kendal Town in the 70th minute and then Rodriguez would equalize for Kendal Town in the 89th minute.

AYLEAL DILL

Ayleal Dill was not part of the team as his ten-man Ilkeston town teammates came from behind to defeat Chasetown in the Northern Premier League.

Chasetown took the lead in the 33rd minute, but Alex Troke lobbed the goalkeeper from a tight angle to get the equalizer in the 48th minute.

Joe Maguire smashed a shot in from close range to give Ilkeston the lead and it proved to be the winner, Maguire scoring his first home goal since his return.

TRISTAN HALL

Tristan Hall and his Holbaek Football Club teammates went down 4 – 0 to Denmark’s Division 2 league leaders Jammerbugt.

Anders Rosengren Jensen gave Jammerbugt the lead in the 4th minute, the led was doubled in the 12th minute when Christian Rye scored.

It was 3 – 0 in the 80th minute when Viktor Ahlmann found the back of the net and then in the 90th minute Bardhec Bytyqi closed out the scoring.

K’SHAELA BURCH-WALDRON

K’Shaela Burch-Waldron and her London City Lionesses Development teammates defeated the Hounslow Reserves 5 – 0.

Playing in the Reserve South East Division, Burch-Waldron and her London City Lionesses Development teammates are in 8th place in the standings having played two matches, picking up their first win to go along with the defeat in their opening league match.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD

Milan Butterfield and his Chesterfield teammates will travel to Rochdale in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup.

As www.islandstats.com reported on Saturday, Chesterfield qualified for the first round after beating Stockport County in a penalty shoot-out at the weekend, the match ended 1 – 1, with Butterfield scoring, and then he would convert the winning penalty in sudden-death.

The tie will take place on the weekend of Saturday, November 7th.
