Clemons Offers Apology for Sending Off in Dalkurd Draw
Willie Clemons and his Dalkurd FF are now in 11th place in the Swedish Superettan Premier Division after they drew 1 – 1 in the latest match against Östers IF.
Clemons was booked in the 19th minute of the match, with James Keene giving Östers IF the lead in the 35th minute.
Dalkurd FF drew level in stoppage time of the first half when Henry Offia scored.
Clemons who is not covered by other local media will probably make headlines as he received his second yellow card in the 73rd minute and was sent off.
Clemons offered his teammates and the fans an apology after the match.
Clemons posted online, “I want to apologize to my fans and teammates. I am a passionate player who wants to do my best in every match. I absolutely did not want to disappoint anyone today and my eagerness to prove myself betrayed me instead.”
