It was on Saturday that we reported Jonte Smith was dreaming of becoming the fourth Bermudian player to appear in a Wembley Stadium, well he and his teammates moved one step closer to making that dream come true as they returned to training at The Energy Check Training Ground for the first day of training since the coronavirus lockdown.
With plans underway to compete in the League Two play-offs later this month to complete the disrupted season, Michael Duff's players were back in action under a strong June sun.
They trained in small groups while following the protocols that have been put in place for the return to training of EFL clubs.
The players worked with the management staff for the first time since training and the season was suspended in mid-March.
