2019-20 CONCACAF Nations League Qualifying produced its fair share of magical moments.
Over the course of four match-days from September 2018 until March 2019, 68 matches were played among the 34 teams in action with some notable performances at the team and individual level.
On a team level, the CNLQ saw Bermuda and Guyana qualify for the CONCACAF Gold Cup for the first time in their respective nations’ history. Bermuda finished in fifth place with a 3W-1D-0L record and a place in League A, while Guyana punched their ticket to the Gold Cup thanks to a seventh-place finish and a spot in League B.
There were also an astounding number of hat-tricks in week 2, with six players scoring a trio of goals in their team’s respective victories: Myles Weston of Antigua and Barbuda, Zeiko Lewis of Bermuda, Reggie Lambe of Bermuda, Sheldon Holder of Guyana, Emery Welshman of Guyana and Atiba Harris of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
