Nahki Wells' transfer fee has already placed considerable pressure and expectation on him to hit the ground running in a Bristol City shirt.
But the 29-year-old has raised the bar further when, on the eve of his anticipated Ashton Gate debut, he's been named Championship Player of the Month.
Wells has been rewarded for his stunning form for QPR in January in which he scored five goals in three games before being recalled by parent club Burnley and sold to City where he became the highest-purchased player by a Championship club.
Wells enjoyed a 27-minute cameo against QPR last Saturday and is likely to be involved once more, again likely off the bench, when Birmingham City are the visitors to Ashton Gate on tonight.
He's been signed to add that extra layer of quality to the Robins attacking play, and Lee Johnson hopes that just because the shirt colour and destination has changed, the striker can continue to score at his QPR rate, which was a remarkable goal every 124 minutes.
