Western Stars Sports Club (Dandy Town Hornets) may stand to profit yet again from the sale of Nahki Wells in the January transfer window.
Back in 2014 as part of an agreement between Wells and Bradford City, Western Stars/Dandy Town Hornets was the recipient of close to $80.000 in FIFA compensation.
Wells moved from Bradford to Huddersfield Town in a 4½-year deal reported to be more than £1.3 million in January 2014. It was a record sum that made the striker Bermuda’s first million-pound footballer.
Wells signed a three-and-half year £4 million deal moving from Premier League Burnley to Bristol City and was unveiled on Thursday night having undergone a medical earlier in the day in Bristol.
