NAHKI WELLS

Nahki Wells and his Queens Park Rangers teammates have come from behind to pick up their first home win of the Championship season with a 3-1 win over Wigan Athletic at Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

Wigan took the lead after just two minutes through Cedric Kipre though Rangers equalized early in the second period through Wells.

Ebere Eze’s free-kick just after the hour mark put Queens Ppark Rangers ahead before Jordan Hugill’s 81st minute effort sealed what was a much deserved three points.

NATHAN TROTT

A hat-trick from Chris Maguire meant that Nathan Trott and his AFC Wimbledon's teammates came away with nothing to show for their efforts in front of 29,725 spectators at the Stadium of Light.

A fine headed goal from Kwesi Appiah had threatened to give the 295 travelling Dons something to cheer on the way home, but two second-half goals from Maguire earned a 3-1 win for Sunderland.

REGGIE LAMBE

Reggie Lambe’s and his Cambridge United temmates five game unbeaten start to the season was ended with a narrow 2 – 1 defeat at the hands of Oldham Athletic at the Abbey Stadium in Sky Bet League Two.

Marc Richards had cancelled out Urko Vera’s opening goal before half time, but the Cambridge United were undone by a set piece which David Wheater headed beyond Dimitar Mitov midway through the second half.

DANTE LEVEROCK

Dante Leverock and his Sligo Rovers came from two down to defeat eight man Limerick following an incredible game at the Showgrounds.

The game saw four players dismissed including Leverock as Sligo overturned a two goal deficit to progress in the FAI Cup Quarter Final for the first time since 2015, defeating Limerick 6 – 2.

In the 37th minute Leverock was sent off for an off the ball incident.

WILLIE CLEMONS

Willie Clemons and his Bodens BK teammates went down 3 – 1 to Carlstad United BK. Carlstad United BK remain in 6th place in the Sweden First Division, while Clemons and Bodens BK remain in 16th place.

MILAN BUTTERFIELD & KNORY SCOTT

Milan Butterfield started and Knory Scott came on in the 71st minute, but they could not prevent Kidderminster from going down 1 – 0 to Chester.

OSAGI BASCOME & JUSTIN DONAWA

Osagi Bascome started and Justin Donawa came off the bench as Darlington got a late equalizer to draw 1 – 1 with Altrincham.

ZEIKO LEWIS

Zeiko Lewis and his Charleston Battery teammates dropped points against Nashville SC in a 2-1 defeat at First Tennesee Park. A last-second goal from Bolu Akinyode gave the hosts three points in a gut-wrenching loss for the Battery.
