Willie Clemons helped his Bodens BK teammates advance to the Final of the Stora Coop Norrbotten Cup, after a 3-1 victory against Notviken IK.
Notviken IK entered the game leading 1 – 0 on aggregate and Bodens BK would score the lone goal of this game in the second half as the game would be decided with an Extra Time period.
In the Extra Time, Bodens BK took the lead when Felix Gustavsson scored. In the 115th minute of the game Clemons made it 3-1 and that was the final result.
NAHKI WELLS
Chris Wood continued his pre-season scoring spree with a hat-trick as it rained goals amidst a mid-summer soaking at Turf Moor.
The unseasonal weather made it a far cry from Nice’s home on the French Rivieria, with Burnley winning 6 – 1.
With his team leading 6-1, Nahki Wells in the 82nd minute replaced Wood.
NATHAN TROTT
An injury-time equalizer from Tommy Wood earned Nathan Trott’s AFC Wimbledon teammates a deserved draw against Premier League club Crystal Palace.
Trott was an unused substitute in the match.
MILAN BUTTERFIELD-KNORY SCOTT
Milan Butterfield and Knory Scott made appearances in the Kidderminster’s comfortable 5-0 pre-season win over a Wolves XI at Aggborough.
Ashley Chambers netted four times on the night, including a first-half hat-trick featuring a sublime solo goal. Butterfield kept the visiting ticking over with his play.
The final third of the game was decidedly quieter, though John Pemberton was able to introduce the likes of Scott and others.
JUSTIN DONAWA & OSAGI BASCOME
Osagi Bascome and Justin Donawa started for Darlington’s second string team that scored three times in the second half to win 3-2 at Esh Winning.
They trailed 2-0 at half time, but goals from Brandon Morrison, Donawa and Louis Hoare gave Darlington the come from behind victory.
