Robin Hood’s slim title hopes took another blow when they drew 4 – 4 with the Boulevard Blazers who were looking to put some space between themselves and 9th place Paget Lions.
The Boulevard Blazers would take the lead in the first minute when Clay Darrell’s shot when beat Dale Eve in goal for Robin Hood.
Robin Hood were level six minutes later when Jaylon Bather headed in from an angle off a freekick, in the 16 minute Robin Hood would take the lead when Lejaun Simmons scored from an angle, he would injure himself when scoring the goal.
Three minutes later it was 3 – 1 to Robin Hood when Shakir Smith scored from close range as the Boulevard Blazers goalkeeper failed to hold onto a shot from Antwan Russell.
Between the 32nd minute and the 37th minute the Boulevard Blazers would score three times to take the lead.
Simmons went off the field with his injury and before Robin Hood could replace him the Boulevard Blazers would get 2 goals from Ian Coke and a single strike from Ernest Trott as they took a 4 - 3 lead into the break.
With seven goals in the first 45 minutes, fans who were braving the temperature would have been expecting to see more goals would have been disappointed as only one goal came in the second half.
Russell would convert from the penalty spot midway through the half to make it 4 - 4 and with no further goals, Robin Hood failed to move within 6 points of league leaders PHC Zebras.
