A brutal spell of fast bowling from Marchant de Lange set Trent Rockets on the path to an overwhelming victory over Delray Rawlins and his Southern Brave teammates at Trent Bridge.

de Lange, a late replacement as overseas player in the Rockets squad, claimed the tournament's first five-for as a reward for a spell of sustained and smart pace bowling to help the Rockets complete a nine-wicket victory with 18-balls to spare.

de Lange claimed the wicket of Rawlins having him caught for 7 off 7 balls, he hit 1 four.

MARCUS SCOTLAND

Marcus Scotland led Finchley Cricket Club 3rd XI to a 9 wicket victory over Kenton Cricket Club.

Kenton Cricket Club batted first and scored 182/9, but Scotland playing in is first Men’s game of the season would score 103 not out helping Finchley score 184/1.

Scotland hit 6 sixes, and 10 fours in his 63 ball knock, his 50 came off 31 balls, he was dropped twice, Scotland brought up his century and won the match with a huge six over mid-wicket.

DENNICO HOLLIS

Dennico Hollis and his Stenhousemuir 1st XI teammates were back in action against The Tryst, they would go down by 5 wickets.

Stenhousemuir 1st XI batted first and scored 174, Hollis was the team’s top scorer with 32 before being trapped LBW.

In reply, The Tryst scored 175/5, with Hollis returning figures of 3-0-22-0.
