Following the Second Round of the Western County and the Third Round of Premier and First Division Cricket action over the weekend, today we take a look at the top performers from the results posted on www.islandstats.com.

In the batting department, Davin Dill from PHC playing in the Western County Cup was the weekend top scorer with 111 not out, against Warwick Workmen’s Club, Dominic Sabir from the Warwick Workmen’s Club had the second-highest knock of the weekend scoring 90 against Flatt’s Victoria, and Janeiro Tucker from the Southampton Rangers scored 80 against Somerset Cricket Club.

With figures of 8-1-16-5, resulted in Kevin Tucker from PHC the top bowler of the weekend, Dev Hanuman also from PHC finished with the second-best figures of 10-3-45-5, and Rodney Trott from Bailey’s Bay returned figures of 4-1-15-4.

Under 17 London Schools Cricket Association 214 Under 18 Leicestershire County Cricket Club Academy 108/1 – Close of Play

Marcus Scotland and his London Schools Cricket Association Under 17 won the toss in their Two-Day match against Leicestershire County Cricket Club Academy Under 18 and decided to bat.

After an opening wicket partnership of 89 between Scotland and N Noori, with Scotland going for a team-high 63, the team would only score another 125 runs, as they were bowled out for 214.

Scotland faced 92 balls, hitting 8 fours in his 115-minute stay at the crease. Manav Jagdish was the pick of the Leicestershire County Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 12-2-31-3.

At the close of play, Leicestershire County Cricket Club reached 108/1, Dylan Church is at the wicket on 62 not out, while Roail Imman claimed the wicket for London Schools Cricket Association returning figures of 7-3-10-1.

Cameron Jeffers

Cameron Jeffers and his Cowbridge Cricket Club 1st XI teammates defeated Chepstow Cricket Club 1st XI by 1 wicket.

Chepstow won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled out for 156, Ben Kellaway was the top scorer with 61, while Rhys Davies was the pick of the Cowbridge bowlers with figures of 10-4-12-3, Jeffers bowled 9.3-0-30-1, he also hung onto a catch.

In reply Cowbridge scored 157/9, Ben Wright was the top scorer with 108 not out, Jeffers added 8 runs, Lewys Jones returned figures of 10-1-19-3.

Dennico Hollis

Dennico Hollis and his Stenhousemuir 1st XI teammates were back in action against Hillhead, and they would fall by 22 runs.

Hillhead batted first and scored 128/8, Hollis bowled 8-2-21-2. In reply Stenhousemuir could only manage 106, Hollis scored 5 runs.
