Chare Smith and his Frenchay Cricket Club 1st XI teammates went down by 13 runs in the Twenty20 match against Bitton Cricket Club.
Frenchay won the toss and sent Bitton to bat, they restricted them to 98/6, Ross Henderson was their top scorer with 33, while Alex Stell was the pick of the Frenchay bowlers with figures of 5-0-24-2, Smith bowled 5-1-8-1, he would also hang onto two catches.
In reply Frenchay would only make 85/7, Mike Donaldson was the top scorer with 34, while Smith was run out without scoring, Jacob Wardle was the pick of the Bitton bowlers with figures of 5-0-22-3.
