The Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) announced the continuation of a partnership with the global insurance company, Chubb.
With this sponsorship, campers will be able to attend a one-week programme during the Easter Term break at a subsidized rate.
Samantha Froud, Chief Administrative Officer, Chubb, Bermuda Operations, said: “Chubb is delighted to continue its support of the Bermuda Cricket Board Camp, a valuable youth development programme.
“The BCB Camp not only provides access to quality coaching, it helps to engage our youth in the sport of cricket; while also developing life-long skills, such as collaboration and the desire to achieve.”
Despite the cancellation of the Easter Camp due to the ongoing pandemic last year, Chubb provided funding for the 2020 Youth League balls.
Kellie Smith, BCB Vice-President, and Development Chair, said: “The BCB would like to extend our gratitude for sponsoring our 2021 Easter Cricket Camp.
“The camp continues to be an enormous success each year for youth players, ages 7 to 13. The kids engage in daily activities such as character building, cricket theory, etiquette, and fundamental cricket skills and are always eager to return annually.”
The BCB Easter Camp is scheduled to take place from April 5th to 9th, at the Warwick Academy Gym and Field. Covid-19 guidelines will be in place until further notice and directives are given by the Government of Bermuda.
Registration will begin on March 1st, 2021. For more information and to get on our mailing list for further updates, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
