The Bermuda Cricket Board have posted on their website Ricardo Brangman of the St. David’s Cricket Club was found guilty of breaching Code of Conduct Article 2.2.1 during the match on August 2nd, 2020 against Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club at the Somerset Cricket Club.
Brangman was charged by umpires Oscar Andrade and Dexter Smith, under Article 2.2.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct, that is contrary to the spirit of the game. NOTE: Article 2. 2.1 is intended to cover all types of conduct of a serious nature that is contrary to the spirit of the game and which is not specifically and adequately covered by the specific offenses set out elsewhere in the Code of Conduct.
Brangman received a sanction of a 2-match suspension and will be eligible to return to play cricket on August 23rd, 2020.
