Rawlins & Sussex Head to South Africa for Pre-Season

Twenty-two players including Delray Rawlins and support staff headed to Cape Town for Sussex’s Men Pre-Season Tour.
On the playing side, fourteen members of the Professional Squad are joined by pathway players Jack Carson and Henry Crocombe.
Performance director Keith Greenfield, head coach Jason Gillespie, batting coach Jason Swift, seam bowling coach James Kirtley, head of medical management Jon Marrale and lead strength & conditioning coach.
Ravi Bopara, Chris Jordan, Tymal Mills, Phil Salt and David Wiese are all involved in the ongoing Pakistan Super League so are not part of the tour.
Ollie Robinson, Will Sheffield and Luke Wright are not travelling with the touring squad. Robinson has only recently returned from England Lions duty, Sheffieldl continues his rehabilitation from knee surgery while, with the tour focusing on red-ball cricket, Wright will continue his preparations for the limited-overs portions of the season at The 1st Central County Ground.
The 13-day trip will see Sussex play two-day matches against Loughborough MCCU and Cardiff MCCU at Claremont CC, where the side will also train.
