The Bermuda Cricket Board and Digicel announced the 2019 Digicel Under 12 Youth Summer League MVPs for the first three weeks.
The co-ed Under 12 Summer League is being held, with games restricted to 20 overs per team, 6 balls per over.
The St. David’s team is being coached by Sam Robinson and Miquita Minors, Barracudas by Damon Edwards and Kellie Smith and Sharks by Mike Stovel and Jordan Smith.
Round 1:
Sharks 109/4 St. David’s 107/6 St. David’s MVP was SaQui Robinson with 25 runs and claimed 3 wickets, while Khari Shareif was the MVP for the Sharks scoring 32 runs not out.
Round 2:
Sharks: 195/5 Barracudas 78/7 Zuri Romaine scored 11 runs and was named the MVP for the Barracudas, while claiming the MVP honors for the Sharks was Thomas Wells who retired after scoring 30 runs and took 1 wicket.
Round 3:
Barracudas 93 St. David’s 91
The MVP for St. David’s was Issac Todd who scored 12 not out and had a maiden over, while yet again Romaine was the MVP for the Barracudas scoring 29 not out.
