St. George’s Cricket Club Win by 62 Runs

The Annual Colts Cup Match took place at the Wellington Oval, with the St. George’s Cricket Club defeating Somerset Cricket Club by 62 runs.

Batting first St. George’s Cricket Club were bowled all out for 162, opener Jarryd Richardson was the top scorer with 51, three Somerset Cricket Club bowlers grabbed three wickets each, Dalin Richardson bowled 9-3-26-3, Jermal Proctor bowled 9-2-40-3 and Nirobi Mills bowled 10.5-2-46-3.

In reply the Somerset Cricket Club fell well short of their target as they were bowled all out for 100, Jerez Eve was the top scorer with 26, while Oni Smith led the St. George’s Cricket Club bowling attack with figures of 11-0-33-6, Oyinde Bascome bowled 8-0-29-2.

Bermuda National Team Win Game One by 8 wickets

Bahamas 136/8 Bermuda 142/2


Bahamas batted first in the opening game at the National Sports Center, they would be restricted to 136/8 in their allotted 20 overs, Marc Taylor was their top scorer with 60, while Charles Trott was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers with figures of 3-0-16-3.

In reply Bermuda scored 142/2 after 16.2 overs, Terryn Fray was the top scorer with 56, which came off 38 balls he hit 5 fours and 1 six, while Oronde Bascome added 52 not out off 43 balls hitting 4 fours. Mark Levy was the pick of the Bahamas bowlers with figures of 2.2-0-31-1.
