Delray Rawlins has been included in the 13-man squad that has travelled to the North East for Sussex’s next Specsavers County Championship fixture against Durham, starting on Thursday.
There are two changes to the 13-man squad named for the match against Leicestershire, with Laurie Evans replacing the injured Harry Finch and Rawlins coming in for Danny Briggs.
Looking ahead to the encounter at Emirates Riverside, Sussex men’s head coach said: “We’re excited about the opportunity to play against another strong side in Durham. Both teams are coming off the back of losses and so will be looking to put that right. We know we’re in for a battle.
“Rawlins comes in for Danny Briggs as we’ve decided to give ourselves the option of an extra batsman for this fixture. We’ll look at the surface when we arrive in the North East and decide on the balance of our final eleven based on that.”
