Bermuda Win by 4 Wickets

Cayman Islands 149 Bermuda 150/6

Bermuda took on Cayman Islands in a 50 overs match reduced to 40 overs due to rain and defeated them by 4 wickets, a result that would only make those who want to criticize more upset.

It was just yesterday that the Bermuda Men’s National Cricket team got the job of finishing on top of the ICC World Twenty20 Americas Regional Qualifying Tournament after defeating Cayman Islands, which some took to social media not to congratulate, but be negative with statements of the team was lucky that they made a lot of runs against another team.

One thing, those people who constantly believe in negative talk about certain sports and cover up others need to realize - your opinion does not matter - because you fall short in your everyday life, you constantly try to bring others down to make yourselves look good, but just so you know people are on to you!

On to today’s match Cayman Islands batted first and were bowled out for 149 after 37.5 overs, Omar Willis was the top scorer with 42, while Jacobi Robinson was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers with figures of 5-1-11-2.

In reply Bermuda scored 150/6 after 24.3 overs, Kamau Leverock was the top scorer with 68 off 41 balls hitting 8 fours and 3 sixes. Leverock shared a 100 run opening wicket partnership with Terryn Fray who scored 33. Alessandro Morris was the pick of the Cayman Islands bowlers with figures of 7-2-20-5.
