Delray Rawlins’ teammates Angus Robson and Liam Smith both made hundreds as Sussex II piled on the runs on the first day of their Championship match against MCC Universities at Hastings.
Former Leicestershire opener Robson continued his impressive form with 137 from 234 balls, including a six and 19 fours, as Sussex closed day one on 438 for 6.
Smith then took full toll of a tiring attack to score an undefeated 104 from just 99 balls with 19 fours and two sixes.
Ollie Robinson made 71 and Eliott Hopper an unbeaten 75 in perfect batting conditions.
Rawlins was out for 18 having faced 45 deliveries, he hit 3 fours in 66 minutes at the crease.
