In their final warmup match in preparation for their start to the 2017 WICB Regional Super50 Tournament, Kamau Leverock and his ICC Americas teammates defeated a Combined Campuses and Colleges Select team by 8 wickets.
Combined Campuses and Colleges Select XI won the toss and elected to Bat they were bowled out for 168, with Leverock returning figures of 6-0-16-0, Timil Patel was the pick of the ICC Americas bowlers returning figures of 10-1-38-4.
In reply the ICC Americas scored 172/2 after 26.2 overs, Leverock opened the inning scoring 54 from 32 deliveries. Leverock hit 6 fours and 2 sixes in his 67 minute stay at the crease.
Leverock was the first to go with the score on 107, Leverock’s opening partner Srimantha Wijeyeratne was the team's top scorer with 66 before retiring hurt.
