For the third year in a row Cleveland County used the Play-Of system to remain in the Premier Division.
This time it came at the expense of First Division runners up St. George’s Cricket Club.
At the Somerset Cricket Club, Cleveland County won the toss and elected to bat scoring 220, player/coach Clay Smith was the top scorer with 68, while Dennis Musson Jr. who shared a 109 run partnership with Smith added 43. St. George’s Cricket Club player/coach Ryan Steede was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 10-3-35-3, while Onias Bascome bowled 10-1-50-3.
In reply St. George’s Cricket Club were bowled out for 149, Bascome was the top scorer with 29, while Oronde Bascome added 27, Musson Jr returned figures of 10-3-16-5 to lead Cleveland County to victory.
