 Questions surrounding the 2016 Bermuda Cricket Board Season continue to come in fast and furious.
One of the questions is what drama will happen this season, two seasons ago the season ended with the Lindo’s Twenty20 not being played due to an off field incident.
Last season the onfield incidents increased, with matches stopped for several reasons, including one team showing up with one ball, players leaving the field involved in a brawl with spectators, there was the issue involving Eastern County match between champions Cleveland County and Bailey’s Bay and of course the season ended with the incident that was filmed by www.islandstats.com that went global during the Champions of Champions Final.
There were issues with the last youth tournament in Bermuda with hotel mix ups for Bermuda, also Bermuda was the only team not to have a traveling kit or shirts to wear for opening and closing ceremonies.
Questions of what has been done or have these issues been address to club officials have been met with the response of NO!
So we prepare for the 2016 Season which will get underway on Saturday April 16th with the Twenty20 tournament with issues outstanding.
