A 122 run second wicket partnership between Chris Douglas and Deunte Darrell helped guide Willow Cuts to a total of 245/8 in their allotted overs, Douglas was the top scorer with 79, while Darrell added 64 and Kevon Fubler chipped in with 34. Western Stars captain Brian Hall was the pick of the bowlers returning figures of 9-0-40-4, while Jaiden Manders had figures of 7-0-63-2.
In reply Western Stars were all out for 139, with only ten batsmen batting after Seth Campbell was injured and taken to the hospital.
