The Bermuda Track and Field Association joined 161 other nations in participating in the IAAF World Athletics Day 2010 when they held a Track Meet at the National Sports Centre.
Athletes took part in several events and disciplines, displaying their talents in front of a large crowd, the feature event was to be the running of the 4x100m relay that would see Brian Wellman, Debbie Jones Hunter, Katura Horton-Perinchief and Devon Bean compete in, however the tam did not finish the race.
Wellman started the first leg and handed off to Jones-Hunter in second place, Jones-Hunter looking strong over the first 30 meters, however she stumbled thus ending the teams chances of finishing the race.
