Barry & Dereham Town Under 15s Run Riot at Aldiss Park

IslandStats.com
Bermuda Under 17 International Antoinette Barry and her Dereham Town Under 15 Magpie Girls teammates delivered a clinical masterclass, dismantling the Fakenham Town Lionesses in a one-sided affair at Aldiss Park.

The Magpies were in imperious form from the first whistle, securing an emphatic 11-0 victory that showcased the depth of talent within the squad.

The scoreline reflected a performance built on fluidity and defensive solidity. The hosts demonstrated "fantastic play from back to front," combining structured build-up with a series of "great finishes". It was a "real team effort" that left the coaching staff "very proud of the group".

The goals were shared across the pitch, highlighting the Magpies' multifaceted threat:
Two hat-tricks were recorded as the attackers capitalized on a weary Lionesses defense.
Five different players found the back of the net throughout the ninety minutes.
Notably, the defenders also joined the scoring spree, underlining the total-football approach adopted by the Dereham side.

While the victory at Aldiss Park provides a significant morale boost, the focus for Barry and her teammates now shifts to one of the biggest fixtures of their season.

The Magpies are set to compete in the Under 16 County Cup Semi-Final in their next outing. With a place in the final at stake, the squad will be looking to carry this momentum and clinical edge into the cup competition as they pursue regional silverware.

Bermuda’s Officials in the Thick of the Action in Guatemala

IslandStats.com
The 2026 Concacaf Under-17 Qualifiers continued in clinical fashion, with Group C delivering a goal-fest at the Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City. While the attackers grabbed the headlines, two of Bermuda’s top FIFA officials were right in the heart of the officiating teams managing the high-stakes encounters.

In the day’s opening fixture, Haiti signaled their intent with a commanding 4-0 victory over Antigua and Barbuda. The Haitian side showed superior technical prowess and fitness, breaking down a resilient, if eventually overmatched, Antiguan defense.

Bermudian Referee Assistant Clinton Hayward was on the line for this encounter, playing a crucial role in managing the pace of the game and ensuring the integrity of Haiti’s fluid attacking transitions. His expertise was called upon as Haiti repeatedly breached the final third, leaving no room for error in offside calls.

The evening session belonged to the hosts. Guatemala delighted the home crowd with a ruthless 7-0 demolition of Grenada, a result that catapulted them to the top of Group C on goal difference.

The match was a showcase of clinical finishing, though it required firm management from the sidelines. Bermuda’s Amaury Majors served as the Fourth Official for this clash. In a game defined by lopsided scoring and high emotions from the traveling Grenadian side, Majors was tasked with maintaining order in the technical areas and overseeing the frequent substitutions as Guatemala rotated their squad in the second half.

Fray Treble Inspires Dramatic Future1Pro Comeback

IslandStats.com
A relentless display of character saw the Future1Pro scholars rescue a point in a pulsating ECFA Premier League encounter, battling back to secure a 3–3 draw away at PDA Northampton.

The match proved to be a showcase for Bermudian talent Kennahz Fray, who delivered a clinical individual performance by netting all three of his side's goals. In a contest that swung back and forth, it was Fray’s efficiency in front of goal that allowed the visitors to stay within touching distance during a challenging opening period.

Future1Pro found themselves staring at a significant mountain to climb after falling two goals behind. The Northampton outfit appeared to be in control, but the scholars refused to fold, demonstrating the tactical discipline and resilience that have become hallmarks of the program this season.

As the match progressed, the visitors' fitness and persistence began to tell. Fray completed his hat-trick to level the scoring, shifting the momentum entirely in favor of the traveling side.

Despite the heroic nature of the comeback, there was a lingering sense of "what might have been" for the Future1Pro camp. Having regained parity, the scholars dominated the closing stages and created several high-quality openings, only to be denied by the woodwork and a string of desperate defensive blocks from the hosts.

The result keeps both sides in the thick of the Premier League standings, but for Future1Pro, the manner of the performance will provide as much satisfaction as the point itself.

With Fray in this kind of clinical form, the scholars will head into their next fixture with renewed confidence as they look to turn draws into victories.

Jiménez & Hibs Fight Back to Deny Rangers Top Spot

IslandStats.com
Hibernian Academy earned a gritty point on the road as they came from behind to secure a 2–2 draw against Rangers in a pulsating CAS Elite Under-19 League encounter in Glasgow.

In a match that pitted two of the country's most clinical youth setups against one another, the spoils were shared in a result that leaves the hosts frustrated in their pursuit of pulling clear at the summit of the table.

Rangers started with the intent of a side looking to cement their status at the top of the league. Their early dominance was rewarded through clinical finishes from Conor Owen and Kyle Glasgow, who appeared to have set the Glasgow outfit on a trajectory for all three points.

The hosts twice took the lead at the Rangers Training Centre, but goals from Jamie McMurdo and Logan Jimenez secured Darren McGregor’s side a well-earned point to take back to the capital.

Hibs, featuring a disciplined Jiménez, found themselves under significant pressure in the first half but managed to keep the deficit within reach before the interval.

The second half told a different story. Refusing to yield, Hibs emerged with a more aggressive press, eventually finding the goals needed to cancel out the Rangers' lead. The comeback was a testament to the resilience of the Edinburgh side's academy, as they exploited gaps in the Rangers backline to level the scoring.

Despite a frantic closing period where both sides pushed for a winner, the defenses held firm.
