The Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) has confirmed its new Executive Committee for the 2026–2030 cycle, with Keith Joseph re-elected to serve another four-year term as president.
The elections took place during CANOC’s 24th General Assembly in Curaçao, bringing together delegates from across the region to outline the future direction of the Caribbean Olympic movement.
Joseph, representing Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, returns unopposed at the helm of a refreshed seven-member committee tasked with guiding regional sports governance, forging strategic commercial partnerships, and expanding pathways for athletes through to 2030.
While the positions of president, treasurer, and the two executive members were uncontested, delegates voted across three key leadership roles: first vice-president, second vice-president, and secretary general.
The newly elected CANOC Executive Committee comprises:
President: Keith Joseph (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) First Vice-President: Bernie Bush (Cayman Islands) Second Vice-President: Christine Dania (Curaçao) Secretary General: Cliff Williams (Antigua and Barbuda) Treasurer: Patrick Blanchet (Haiti) Executive Member: John Abramson Jr (United States Virgin Islands) Executive Member: Susan Garcia (Martinique)
The outcome marks a notable changing of the guard across the organization, introducing five new faces alongside two returning administrators to strike a balance between fresh leadership and institutional continuity.
Gender diversity on the board has also been preserved, with Christine Dania and Susan Garcia ensuring female representation on the seven-strong panel.
The incoming executive will oversee a critical four-year quadrennium, focusing on regional solidarity, high-performance athlete development, and strengthening the Caribbean's voice on the global sporting stage.
