Raising The Bar will host its October Student-Athlete Showcase Weekend from October 22nd – 25th, welcoming boarding school representatives from the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada to Bermuda to connect local families with international educational and sporting opportunities.
The weekend opens on Thursday, October 22, with Beyond The Game: Exploring Education and Athletic Opportunities, featuring a panel discussion moderated by Dwayne Caines, followed by a Mini School Fair.
The event takes place at the National Sports Centre, North Field Pavilion (upstairs), with the panel discussion from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM and the Mini School Fair from 6:45 PM – 8:00 PM.
This event is open to everyone. Families do not need to be affiliated with a particular club, school, sporting organisation, or Raising The Bar programme to attend.
Whether your child participates in football, basketball, cricket, swimming, athletics, sailing, or any other sport, parents are encouraged to come out, meet the visiting school representatives, ask questions, and learn more about the boarding school opportunities available.
The weekend will also feature organised football and basketball showcase activities, including a basketball showcase hosted by Team Hurricanes, alongside individual meetings between families and visiting school representatives.
Admission to Thursday’s panel discussion and Mini School Fair is free.
