Sixteen-year-old substitute Rufaro Kunze struck five minutes from time to seal a thrilling 3-2 victory for PHC Zebras against X-Roads at Lords, headlining an action-packed weekend of Bermudian domestic football.

PREMIER DIVISION

X-Road’s 2 PHC Zebras 3

In a breathless Premier Division encounter in St David's, Donavan Thompson handed X-Roads a dream start by breaking the deadlock after just four minutes.

PHC responded ten minutes later when neat combination play down the left flank freed Enrique Russell, who slid a composed finish beneath the advancing goalkeeper. Russell completed the turnaround ten minutes before the interval, rising to nod home an exquisite delivery from Daniel Cook to give the Zebras a 2-1 cushion at the break.

X-Roads refused to buckle and clawed their way level in the 62nd minute through Kahmori Brangman. However, the introduction of teenage sensation Kunze from the bench proved the decisive tactical move, with the youngster finding the net in the 85th minute to ensure all three points went back to Warwick.

St. George’s Colts 1 Dandy Town Hornets 3

At Wellington Oval, visiting Dandy Town Hornets took full advantage of a chaotic defensive display from St Georges Colts to secure a comfortable 3-1 victory.

St Georges endured a nightmare start, finding themselves two goals down inside the opening 23 minutes courtesy of a pair of own goals. Jahron Dickinson gave the hosts hope when he halved the deficit in the 32nd minute, but Tomiko Goater restored Dandy Towns two-goal cushion on the stroke of half-time.

A scoreless second half ensured the Hornets wrapped up a professional road win.

Devonshire Colts 5 Young Men Social Club 1

At Police Field, Devonshire Colts ran riot in a dominant 5-1 rout of Young Mens Social Club, spearheaded by an electric first-half masterclass from Sage Blair-Paynter.

Blair-Paynter set the tone with an opener after just four minutes, doubled his tally in the 36th minute, and completed a clinical first-half hat-trick right on the stroke of the interval.

Senoj Mitchell added a fourth on the hour mark. Although Kimshun Smith pulled a consolation goal back for Social Club in the 78th minute, Elisha Darrell capped off the afternoon with a fifth in the 89th minute to complete the demolition.

FIRST DIVISION

Hamilton Parish 2 Southampton Rangers 1

Hamilton Parish held off a late Southampton Rangers fightback to claim a hard-fought 2-1 win at Wellington Oval.

Aaron Burgess broke the deadlock in the 13th minute to give Parish the lead heading into half-time, before Kion Knights doubled their advantage four minutes after the restart. Kevon Douglas struck in the 89th minute to set up a grandstand finish for Southampton Rangers, but Parish held firm during late stoppage time.

St. David’s 1 Wolves 0

At Lords, St David's earned maximum points on home soil with a gritty 1-0 win over Wolves.

Following a tightly contested, goalless opening 45 minutes, Denhem Minors stepped up to break the stalemate in the 83rd minute, guiding St David's over the line to secure a crucial clean sheet and victory.
