Bermuda's Eric West held his nerve through testing final-round conditions to claim the 2026 Eastern Caribbean Golf Association (ECGA) Championship title.
West posted a three-round total of seven-over-par 223 to get over the line, with a vintage second-round performance proving the decisive bedrock of his victory.
Having opened the tournament with a solid three-over 75 featuring three birdies, nine pars, and six bogeys, West delivered his best golf of the week during the second round to take control of the championship.
A clinical display saw him card a two-under 70, rolling in four birdies against just two dropped shots alongside 12 steady pars. That surge gave him crucial breathing space heading into the decisive final 18 holes.
The final round proved a war of attrition. West faced immediate adversity, dropping shots on four holes and suffering a costly triple bogey as the course showed its teeth.
However, with his advantage under threat, the Bermudian leaned on his experience to steady the ship. A solitary birdie combined with 12 crucial pars allowed him to card a six-over 78, doing just enough to protect his aggregate cushion and secure regional silverware.
