Former players Tre Ming, Rakeem DeShields, and Rayquan Woodley-Smith will take centre stage on Referee Corner: Excellence in Action to offer an inside look into making the leap from the pitch to officiating.
The trio will join host Earl Basden live on IslandStats.com at 5:30pm, trading their boots for the whistle as they unpack the psychological and physical transition involved in crossing football's traditional divide.
Having each plied their trade at domestic level, Ming, DeShields, and Woodley-Smith bring rare perspective to the challenges of officiating Bermuda's modern game.
Key talking points on Monday's broadcast will include:
The transition: Adapting from the competitive mindset of an active player to the impartial authority demanded of match officials.
Law interpretation: Deconstructing contentious rules, evolving officiating guidelines, and managing game flow under pressure.
Player relations: How their playing backgrounds shape communication and mutual respect on the pitch.
The live stream gets under way at 5:30pm on IslandStats.com
