IslandStats.com
Bermuda’s martial artists brought the curtain down on an exceptional week of continental competition in Argentina, capturing a rich haul of gold, silver, and bronze honours across the 5th Pan American Kung Fu Championships and the 15th Pan American Wushu Championships.

The island's squad excelled across both full-contact combat and traditional routines, reaffirming their pedigree against the Americas' best in Buenos Aires.

In the full-contact San Da ring, Bermuda’s fighters set the pace with three gold medals and a silver.

Experienced international Krista Dyer underlined her continental supremacy by capturing the Women’s 75kg title. Rising prospect Tristan Robinson followed suit with an emphatic tournament victory to secure gold in the Male 65kg division, while Yara Robinson took top honours in the 9–11 Years 26kg category.

Jacob Goodwin produced a spirited display in the junior ranks to claim silver in the 15–17 Male 48kg division, while Michael Tristan Burgess placed fifth in a fiercely contested Male 65kg category.

The traditional forms events delivered a sustained rush of silverware, headlined by multiple-podium displays from Kaelin Cox and veteran competitor Garon Wilkinson.

Cox enjoyed a standout campaign in Group D (18–39), striking gold in the Other Southern Style Form and adding a silver in the Spear. He capped off a glittering week alongside Wilkinson to claim gold in the prestigious Two-Person Fighting Set.

Wilkinson added an individual silver in the Group E (40–59) Flexible Weapon, while Jashae Allen-LaMontagne topped the podium in Group D with a clinical performance to win gold in the Other Northern Style Form.

Jecoa Burrows secured bronze in the Group E Other Northern Style Form, with Talia Fox matching that feat by taking bronze in the Group E Taiji Open Hand division.

In Modern Wushu Taolu, the squad battled through dense fields to record a string of competitive scores.

Geraldine Sidders placed sixth in Group A (15–17) Jianshu with a score of 8.406, alongside ninth in Gunshu (8.270) and 13th in Changquan (8.156).

Tristan Robinson backed up his San Da title with remarkable consistency in Group C (9–11), finishing fifth across Nanquan (8.560), Nandao (8.613), and Nangun (8.223).

Senior competitor Kaelin Cox posted 8.296 in Male Nanquan (14th) and 7.170 in Nandao (16th), while young prospect Yara Robinson scored 7.790 for 18th in Changquan to round out an exhaustive and rewarding international assignment.
