The stage is set for the Bermuda Mixed Foursomes Championship this Saturday, 3 October, with competitors heading to Turtle Hill Golf Club for a grueling 36-hole stroke play test.
The one-day marathon will see mixed pairs of two battle across two distinct formats, challenging both individual consistency and team strategy.
Round one opens with Four-Ball (Partner Best Ball) played at an 85% handicap allowance, before the afternoon session switches gears. Pairs in the elite Championship Flight will contest the demanding Pinehurst format (Modified Alternate Shot) at 50% combined handicap, while the First Flight division will conclude play under a Captain’s Choice format.
Action begins early with registration from 7:00 am, followed by a tournament briefing at 7:20 am ahead of a prompt 7:30 am shotgun start for the opening round.
Golfers will return to the clubhouse at 11:00 am to submit morning cards and collect a quick "Stop & Go" boxed lunch, before the horn sounds at 11:30 am for round two's shotgun start.
The day concludes with final scorecards due at 3:00 pm, leading directly into the prize presentation ceremony at 3:30 pm.
