Davis Cup Bermuda drawn to host Syria in 2027 Play-offs

Bermuda will welcome 11th seeds Syria in the 2027 Davis Cup World Group II play-offs following the draw in London.
The match-up was confirmed after the official draw for the World Group I and World Group II play-offs took place at the World Tennis offices on Monday, mapping out 26 home-and-away ties featuring 52 nations across men's team tennis.
Bermuda were drawn as the home nation against Syria after the choice of ground was determined by lot.
The tie is scheduled to take place on either February 5th – 6th or February 6th – 7th 2027, with the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association to confirm their preferred competition dates as the host nation.
Stakes will be high for both sides when the action gets under way. The winners of the World Group II play-offs will advance to the main World Group II ties in September 2027, while the losing nations will be relegated to their respective regional Group III events later in the year.
