Aeziah Divine embraced the demanding, unpredictable elements at the iconic TT Circuit Assen as round seven of the R&G British Talent Cup got underway in the Netherlands.
The young rider delivered two committed, resilient rides across the weekend, navigating fluctuating weather, interrupted sessions, and challenging tyre choices to secure a pair of hard-earned points finishes at the 'Cathedral of Speed'.
Reflecting on tackling one of motorsport's most celebrated venues, Divine remained upbeat despite the relentless curveballs thrown up by the Dutch weather.
"It’s awesome being back at the iconic TT Circuit Assen for the seventh round," Divine said. "It’s been a wet start so far with conditions changing. We’ve had a qualifying that was cut short and race one with wet tyres on a dry track, but we are improving."
Divine found himself on the back foot early on Saturday after a rain-affected qualifying session was curtailed, leaving him 15th on the grid for Race One.
However, faced with an evolving surface that rapidly dried out beneath wet-weather rubber, Divine showed maturity beyond his years. The youngster managed tyre degradation masterfully over the 13-lap contest, picking off riders ahead to gain three places and take the chequered flag in 12th position with a total time of 26 minutes 15.203 seconds.
Sunday's shorter 11-lap sprint brought another tactical test in changing conditions. Divine dug deep in a tightly bunched midfield battle, keeping clean throughout to cross the line in 14th place, clocking 20:25.849.
The pair of solid results at Assen marks another progressive step in Divine’s campaign, demonstrating both race craft and adaptability as the championship heads into its closing stages.
