Bermudian sprint duo Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore were back in the pool as the preliminary heats of the women’s 50m freestyle got underway at the 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Irvine, California.
Competing at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center, both swimmers lined up in a heavily stacked, world-class field looking to secure places in the evening finals.
Harvey and Moore Test Speed in Splash-and-Dash
Emma Harvey led the Bermudian effort in the splash-and-dash event, stopping the clock in 25.98 seconds. Her sub-26 second performance earned her a tied 26th-place finish overall.
Teammate Madelyn Moore was also in action in the morning heats, touching the wall in 26.40 seconds to claim 35th position.
The race marked another valuable outing on the international circuit for the Bermudian contingent, who have featured across multiple sprint, backstroke, and butterfly events throughout the four-day championship in California
