In a thrilling encounter, Rhode Island’s summer loan arrival Yutaro Tsukada stole the spotlight by netting on his home debut to break the deadlock. Forward JJ Williams then put the result beyond doubt in second-half stoppage time, slotting home his 11th goal of the campaign to wrap up all three points.
