Dylan Muso produced a stunning second-round display to surge into second place in the Hoerman Cup individual standings as Bermuda kept up their title challenge at the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship in Nassau.
Competing at The Royal Blue Golf Course, Muso fired an impressive four-under-par 68 to move to four under for the tournament, sitting just a single stroke off the lead. His electric round was headlined by an eagle and four birdies alongside 11 pars and just two bogeys.
First-round leader Eric West remains firmly in contention, tied for third at three under overall after carding a solid even-par 72.
Further down the Men's Division leaderboard, Oliver Betschart sits tied for 17th at five over following a second-round 78 (+6), while Will Haddrell is tied 21st at seven over after registering a 76 (+4). Mikus Ming occupies tied 24th on nine over following a three-over 75, with Arman Newton down in 55th place (+50) after a difficult round of 100 (+28).
The collective efforts keep Bermuda’s men’s team in second position in the overall standings at two over par.
In the George Teale Individual Ladies' Division, Sienna Mosquera continues to lead the Bermudian contingent, rising to eighth place overall at 16 over par after improving with a second-round 77 (+5) that included two birdies and 11 pars.
Darina Betschart holds 11th place at 20 over par after signing for a 79 (+7), while Tracy Burgess sits 18th (+30) following a second consecutive 87. Morgan Lightbourne completes the squad in joint-23rd (+38) after an 89 (+17).
Bermuda's women's team remain fifth in the standings at 36 over par heading into the third round.
