Bermuda’s campaign at the 2026 Commonwealth Games came to a close as cyclist Conor White competed in the Men's 40km Points Race Final on the track.

White finished in 16th place with a score of -20 after an exhausting, high-tempo 160-lap battle at the velodrome, bringing an end to the island nation's competitive action at the Games.

Bermudian athletes and team officials subsequently gathered alongside thousands of international competitors to attend the Closing Ceremony, marking the conclusion of a scaled-back 2026 edition of the Commonwealth Games.

The Men’s Points Race proved to be a relentless spectacle, with continuous attacks disrupting the main peloton throughout the 40-kilometre distance.

With sprint points on offer every 10 laps, the frantic pace split the field early on, forcing several riders down a lap against the leading group.

Despite a determined effort to stay within touch of the leaders, White ultimately incurred a lap penalty, leaving him with a final tally of -20 points to secure 16th position overall.

With White’s final ride wrapped up, members of the Bermuda delegation turned their attention to celebrating the culmination of the Games at the official Closing Ceremony.

Athletes from across the island's sporting disciplines joined together to parade as the ceremonial flag was lowered, bringing down the curtain on a unique and streamlined edition of the multi-sport event.
