IslandStats.com
Bermuda's track and field athletes enjoyed another competitive day at the Commonwealth Games, with Jah-Nhai Perinchief booking his place in the men's triple jump final, while Caitlyn Bobb and Tiara DeRosa produced determined performances in Glasgow.

Bobb returned to the track for the women's 400 metres semi-finals after progressing through the opening round. Running in the first semi-final, the Bermudian crossed the line seventh in a time of 55.17 seconds, narrowly missing out on a place in the final.

The standout performance came from Perinchief, who comfortably secured his place in the men's triple jump final. His best leap of 16.01 metres earned him seventh place in the qualifying round, ensuring he will return to compete for Commonwealth honours.

In the field, Tiara DeRosa represented Bermuda in the women's discus final, producing a best throw of 49.52 metres to finish seventh against a strong international field.

Although Bobb's campaign came to an end in the semi-finals, Bermuda's athletes continued to demonstrate their ability to compete on the Commonwealth stage, with Perinchief now carrying the island's medal hopes into the men's triple jump final.
