Miguel Power completed a consistent week of racing to finish 15th overall at the ILCA UK Open & National Championships after 13 races at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy.
Competing in the highly competitive ILCA 6 fleet, the Bermudian amassed 140 net points to secure his place in the top 15 of the final standings.
Power's campaign was built on consistency, with six top-10 finishes across the 13-race regatta. His standout performance came in the fifth race of the championship, where he produced an impressive third-place finish against a strong international field.
Despite facing challenging conditions throughout the week, Power remained competitive from start to finish, recording enough strong results to maintain his position among the fleet's leading sailors.
The top-15 finish marks another encouraging performance for the Bermudian, whose ability to regularly place inside the top 10 demonstrated both resilience and pace over the course of the championship.
With valuable international racing experience added to his resume, Power can take confidence from another solid showing as he continues his development on the ILCA circuit.
