Bermuda's Majors Officiates CFU Club Shield Quarter-Final

IslandStats.com
Bermuda FIFA referee Amaury Majors was in the middle for one of the biggest matches of the 2026 CFU Club Shield as Jamaica's Mount Pleasant FA booked their place in the semi-finals with a narrow victory over Barbados' Weymouth Wales FC.

Majors officiated the quarter-final at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, where Mount Pleasant edged last year's runners-up 1-0 in a closely contested encounter.

The decisive moment came in the 66th minute when Johnson Juedy found the breakthrough, scoring the only goal of the match to send the Jamaican club into the last four of the regional competition.

The result ended Weymouth Wales' hopes of another deep run in the tournament, while Mount Pleasant moved a step closer to lifting the CFU Club Shield title.

For Majors, the appointment to a knockout-stage fixture is another significant milestone in his international refereeing career, reflecting the confidence regional football officials continue to place in the Bermudian FIFA referee for high-profile Caribbean matches.
