Having opted to bypass the Opening Ceremony to focus on the opening pool session, the five-strong team delivered across the morning heats in Glasgow.
The headline performance came in the Men’s 50m Backstroke, where Jack Harvey stormed to victory in Heat 1.
Stopping the clock at 25.50 seconds, Harvey smashed the Bermuda national record on his way to securing the 13th fastest time overall, comfortable qualifying for Friday evening’s semi-finals.

Bermuda will have double representation in the Women’s 50m Butterfly semi-finals following impressive heat swims from Emma Harvey and Elan Daley.
Emma Harvey finished 5th in a rapid Heat 7, touching in 27.16 seconds to advance as the 13th fastest qualifier.
Elan Daley claimed victory in Heat 1 with a time of 27.56 seconds, snatching the 16th and final semi-final spot to extend her competition.
In the Men’s 200m Individual Medley, Elijah Daley and Sam Williamson went head-to-head in Heat 1.
Daley took 4th place in 2:06.82 to finish 14th overall, closely followed by Williamson in 5th with a time of 2:06.92 (15th overall). While both missed out on the final, their performances capped a strong opening session for the island's swimmers.
